=D

I thing that study english is a very good thing, many information is in english in internet so it's better if you know the language because you get more access to other authors and that is very important in journalism.

Writing in a blog is a very good way to learn because you can think more what things write and you can search on internet if you don't know a word. And you can get a feed back with your classmates when you read what they do in the class

In these classes we learn about a lot of different topics, and i think that i have learned many expressions that for me are the most difficlut things in another language because are things that the eople say naturally and for us are very strange.

I need to improve my english a lot. I think that i talk like a caveman still. But i expect to make i better and maybe travel to Usa or England to practice it. But at home i try to read newspapers in english a search things in english too is not diffult translate a text if you want to do it really. For me the best and the only way to learn a language is with actitude and reading always. You need actitude to talk wherever you are because many people don't talk because they think that they can't do it but everybody can. Reading is the best way to get more words for your vocabulary. If you know more words you can talk about more topics is very simple.

I live with a frechwoman, wich is the girlfriend of my brother, with her i speak a lot of english because she don't know spanish, so the most of time we try to understand us with spanglish or something. So i practice a little bit everyday.

I hope you're not boring with these text, and we read us in somewhere in sometime!

Cheers

Friends

One of the fundamental things in life are friends. They are the people who help you always when you need it. A friend for me is a person who make you happy when you're sad. That can do something for you even if you don't ask him. I consider me a good friend with my people, i care about them, but sometimes i don't see them a lot because i make many things in the day.

I make fiends easily, but no real friends. I prefer to say that i can talk easily with people a make a good connection. Just like radiohead says "meeting people is easy". To have real friends is something that take time and dedication.

My closes friend is Sebastián. He lives in La Serena (i'm from there) so i can't see him frequently that is bad. But when i go there we can talk for hours and that is a real friendship for me, no matter time or distance. I meet him at the school in the first grade, and he lived very close to  me so we played a lot toguether as we are childs.

I keep in touch with some buddies from high school that live in Santiago, with the people who lives in La Serena is difficult, but i chat with them and i try to know what they are doing al least, now is easier becausse you can see their pics on facebook or see what they post there. I can say that here i have real good friends, there is good people wherever yo go, you need to see who they are and chill.

Literature

Sincerely, i'm not a book worm, but i like reading. I tihnk is one of the best ways to learn things about the life and get experiences. I read books from time to time, and one of my problems it's that i read many books at the same time. That is because i get bored from them quickly.  I remember some books that i read when i was a child for example the little prince. I don't know how many books i have read but i want to read many till i die. My favorite writer is Julio Cortazar and my favorite book i don't know but it's between 1984 and El reino de este mundo.

The last book that i have read it's Los detectives salvajes by Roberto Bolaño and it's very good. It's very long so i readed it in one year because sometimes i get tired of it. It has so many pages. The story is about two poets that live in mexico and make many things but the mainly search a mexican poet called Cesarea Tinajero. She found "el real Viceralismo" wich is a style of  poetry.

I recomend this book to all the people who want to read a good story with many points of views. It has many interesting characters and the story involves many places and countries. If you want it ask me. I can borrow it you.

Article!

http://www.santiagotimes.cl/opinion/special-reports/25227-drug-reform-in-chile-legalize-it

The article is about what to do with the drugs in Latinamerica specify in Chile. In many countries the presidents says that the status quo doesn't work

One of the curious things that the author mention is that there is a webpage that is called virtual senator where the people can play to be a senator and the drug reform is by far and away the most popular initiative in Congress. This bill implicate the legalization of the consumption, possession and cultivation of marijuana.

If passed, the bill would legalize the cultivation of marijuana for personal and therapeutic use. This is a way to fight against the cartel because less people will buy drug from them because the people will can gets his own marijuana at home.

In chile there is a very influential movement mainly run bay the cannabis consumers but is difficult to make a progress. thousands of Chileans take part in the march “Cultiva tus derechos” or “Cultivate your rights” where they advocate changes to Chile’s marijuana policy. They want to grow their own cannabis for personal consumption. The policies in chile make that the people who is affected by them are the consumers and not the traffickers according to a source.

One example in Latinamerica is Uruguay in July they would completely depenalize marijuana use, placing the state at the center of the legal sale and regulation of the substance. The implementation of this should be not difficult, this will be do by a State-control. That’s not to say that Uruguay will not face some problems in the future.

the article, in few words, says  that Chile maybe in a few years will be a revolutionary policy about the drugs.

Brazil (8)

when i was in the school, we make a trip with my class to Buzios, Brazil. We spent one week there. Buzios  is a beutiful beach with a very clear water and white sand. It's a village for tourist.

It was very relax because we could do everything that we want, for example it was no problem drink Caipirinha during the journey, the rule was not do it in front of the teachers. We know people there, we played football against a group of childrens of there and we lose, obviously.

One day we went to Rio de Janeiro, Buzios is very close to this big city, that we now because of the carnival that is a huge party. There are more things to see in that place, for example one of the biggest football stadiums around the world that is called "Maracana" or one of the biggest statue of Jesus in the top of a hill, it's like the statue of liberty.

These holidays were good because i was a teenager, 17 years old, with money, with my friends and in another country. Always when i am with my classmates we talk about it and we laugh so much because the things that we do together. Now i can see what we did on that time and make a smile for that.

Travel to rastaland

One of my dreams in my life, is to travel to Jamaica.to beggin with i have never been in the caribbean, so it is a good opportunity to know how is the life there. For us it is very strange to live in an island, but there is something normally. What is more insteresting is the mix of cultures that is in there, because the colonization and the traffic of slaves from africa that made many process that we now just today.

There are two words that transport us to jamaica instantly, reggae and ska. These are two music styles that are famous around the world. All the people know who was Bob Marley and The Wailers, maybe not The Skatalites that are more underground, but they are bands that are essential if you wanna know about the music from there.

My curiosity is knowing wich are the origins of these styles that are my favorites in this moment. There are many prejudices about this, that this music is for the people who smoke weed, and in fact many people that smoke hear reggae, but that is just a point of view. What is real is that there is a great culture behind this, and that is what i want to see there.

So, what i want to do is to stay there, not just like a tourist, maybe live there some months and know people, their habits, what they think about the life. I'm the kind of people that think that the music is more than what we hear is a gate to know things that we don't see normally.
